Filmed in 360 degrees, it offers an immersive experience, blending personal and universal realities. Earth Signal Universe Wide is a radio sculpture transmitted by stations on Earth and the International Space Station. The transmission expands beyond the solar system, refracted by celestial objects, and travels infinitely through space. Modulated by an Earth seismometer, it symbolizes a cultural message from humanity to the cosmos.

An installation of three illuminated boxes displays colorful abstract images on transparent surfaces, creating portals to imaginary and real spaces. The large box, inspired by the sixteen sunsets seen from the International Space Station, invites viewers to explore subjective, alternative spaces through imagination, defying meaning and logic.

In Nothing in Space, astronaut Eytan Stibbe pauses his activities aboard the International Space Station, remaining as still as possible, save for involuntary movements. This performance contrasts the heroic ethos of space exploration with the cost of inactivity in space, questioning the value of time and human presence beyond Earth.

Sharp cuts between images of space and a white background create intensity and expansiveness, expressed in a minimalistic collage that connects various elements into one cohesive picture. This process mirrors how space cameras receive and integrate information to form a singular, expansive image.

Amir Frenkel, a tenth-grade student at the Jerusalem Experimental High School, wrote, “When we learn to look at it, our gaze free from masks, in abstractness, it will suddenly be revealed in full innocence.” This line serves as the basis for the collage, balancing innocence, power, and silence.

Anat was on a road trip in the US last October when the events of 7/10 in Israel occurred. Her work reflects the tension between detachment and the pull of deep roots, blending distance, silence, hope, and worry, like torn postcards of memories and emotions.

At a distance where differences blur, reality loses meaning, and familiar shapes fade into a geometric play of light and shadow. The world becomes an image, stripped of material aspects, reminding us that reality is just one interpretation among infinite possibilities.
